My journey into holistic health began in 2005, when my daughter developed unexplained symptoms that conventional doctors dismissed — often leaving me feeling unheard, overwhelmed, and even blamed. It took 13 years and a diagnosis at Mayo Clinic to get real answers. In the meantime, I dove deep into holistic wellness, determined to understand what was being overlooked.
I started with a background in Athletic Training, strength coaching, and group fitness — but after being diagnosed with Hashimoto’s in 2015 and told once again that “nothing could be done,” I knew there had to be more. That led me to massage therapy, deeper nutrition work, and ultimately becoming a Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner (FDN-P).
Now, I use root-cause functional testing and a practical, real-life approach to help midlife women navigate the messy middle of perimenopause — from thyroid issues and gut imbalances to hormones, energy, and weight changes.
As a working mama myself, I know what it means to juggle a lot while feeling like your body is changing faster than you can keep up with. My mission is to make wellness feel doable, grounded, and sustainable — not restrictive or rooted in outdated advice from 1985.
Through my Choosing Strength Foundations™ program, I guide women step-by-step to reconnect with their bodies, get real answers, and feel strong, supported, and seen.
